About

For over 20 years, Marni served the public as an employee of the Social Security Administration (SSA).  Most recently staffed in SSA’s Office of Legislation and Congressional Affairs, she drafted witness testimony, developed legislative packages and lead a team that responded to White House and Congressional inquiries.  She also completed a detail at the White House in the Office of Presidential Correspondence.  During her time there, she was the liaison between the White House and other federal agencies regarding healthcare and Social Security issues.  She also had the opportunity to draft custom letters on behalf of President Obama and developed a method to track non-profit correspondence through Salesforce.

Baltimore born and bred, Marni earned her bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from the University of Baltimore and her master’s in Contemporary Communications from Notre Dame of Maryland University.  Her government background and education have enabled her to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and prepared her for the work she does today.

Marni is a member of the Mid-Maryland Triathlon Club and the Baltimore Public Relations Council.  In her spare time, she enjoys participating in athletic events, traveling, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with her family.  You can read more about Marni in her personal blog, The Adventures of Marni.
